Brilliant scarlet-red clusters appear in June in tremendous quantities on this vigorous climber, then continue intermittently all summer and offer ANOTHER heavy showing in early fall. One of the most prolific climbing Roses we have ever had the pleasure of growing, Blaze Improved is a must-have for busy gardeners looking for an easy, very floriferous Rose.
The blooms are 2 to 3 inches wide, suffused with rich crimson-scarlet tones and borne in big clusters against deep green foliage. This is a Rose that really shows off against a white wall or arbor but also looks good winding its way along a wooden fence, hiding a chain-link fence effectively, or arching out from a trellis. It grows 10 to 15 feet tall and 6 to 8 feet wide, spending all its resources making more flowers.
The bloom season is Blaze Improved's most impressive feature, but this shrub is also a fine grower, easy to care for and exceptionally vigorous. We recommend it for new gardeners looking to have a successful "first Rose" growing experience, as well as for seasoned gardeners who appreciate the very long season of color this climber offers.
Give Blaze Improved plenty of sunshine, water, and food for even heavier bloom seasons.
